- Compaction
- Roll and compact the asphalt using heavy rollers, and plate compactors to ensure density and durability of new asphalt.
- Perform multiple passes with varying roller vibratory settings, speeds and angles for optimal results.
- Inspect the surface for uniformity and address any inconsistencies.
- Finishing Touches
- Allow the asphalt to cure properly before opening it to traffic. In most cases traffic can be allowed on the new asphalt the next day.
